2011 White Wine Blend

Sluice Box

El Dorado

Our white Rhône style blend where we let the vintage inspire our final blend. In 2011 we skin fermented both Grenache Blanc and Vermentino and added a little Picpoul! The final blend is 50% Marssane, 34% Grenache Blanc (with half skin fermented), 14% skin fermented Vermentino and 2% Picpoul. This is a white wine with a red’s backbone that has the stuffing for the fall and winter table.

Stone fruit, honey spice and floral hints entice the nose immediately. On the pallet this wine is vibrant with more stone fruit, a hint of citrus and a chewiness that surprises.
